STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics ) Fields at UC Davis

The following is a list of UC Davis graduate programs and undergraduate majors and corresponding Classification of Instructional Programs (CIP) codes published by the National Center for Education Statistics that have been approved by US Immigration and Customes Enforcement (US ICE) as science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) degrees for the purpose of approving a 17-month STEM extension of OPT.
F-1 students can only qualify for this 17-month extension if the student's degree program is on the list below. Please note that there are other requirements in the regulations in addition to having an appropriate program of study or major.
