Attendance at a scholar orientation is required to validate the stay of all international scholars.

Please plan to attend a session within two weeks of your arrival at UC Davis. Orientation sessions are usually held each Thursday (bi-weekly) from 10:30 - 11:45 a.m.  at Hart Hall, Room 3201.  Please drop by our office at University House or call 530-752-0864 ext. 0 to make a reservation.

Please bring photocopies of:

1. Your passport ID page

2. Your DS-2019

3. Both sides of your I-94 card (arrival/departure record)--even if there is nothing written on the back.

4. Your J-1 visa stamp

5. If your J-2 dependents are here in the U.S. with you, please bring copies of their documents as well.

Attendance is mandatory. If you are not able to attend at the original time you scheduled, please call to re-schedule.

Hart Hall does not have copying facilities so please be sure to bring copies.
