Health Insurance for Dependents of International Students StudentInsure is a health insurance plan that will cover you and your dependents that are here with you. In order for your dependents to be eligible for StudentInsure, you must also be enrolled in it. If you want to enroll in StudentInsure with your dependents, and you do NOT want to be enrolled in the UC Davis Student Health Insurance Plan, you must enroll in StudentInsure and apply for a SHIP waiver by the waiver deadline (for more information about waiving SHIP, go to the Cowell Student Health Center insurance webpage.
