Introduction to the University System - Fall Quater 2017

Introduction to resources supporting first year students’ academic success at UCD and transition to a Tier 1 Research University.

EDU 065A: This course is part one of a series offered by the School of Education designed to give you the tools you need to succeed at UC Davis!

You will learn about American culture with members of the campus community. Plus, you can practice important student skills, including how to:

  • manage your time on the quarter system
  • develop critical thinking and study skills
  • understand and adjust to life in America
  • understand your rights and responsibilities as a student
  • participate in classes, use office hours
  • find resources and answers for all kinds of questions

Course details:

  • Previously known as “EDU 098”
  • The course is P/NP
  • Each course is 2 units and it is recommended that you take the whole series in order
  • Small class sizes, limited to 20
  • Multiple sections will be offered each quarter
