UC Davis Receives Open Doors 75 Seal of Excellence

UC Davis is honored to receive the Open Doors 75 Seal of Excellence, which recognizes our participation in the Institute of International Education’s Open Doors survey since its inception in 1949.

A Journey of Language Learning

Kiara Zecha, a fourth-year Japanese major and education minor, has always had the goal of being bilingual. Through her hard work and commitment to her journey, Kiara has amassed multiple experiences and outlets to improve her Japanese language comprehension. She hopes to use these skills in her future career goal of teaching language abroad.

"The Tese Foundation’s annual Women and Girls Tea fundraiser, this year themed “Out of Africa,” will be from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 4, at the newly renovated Veterans Memorial Center, 305 E. 14th St. in Davis.
