Scam Prevention Tip of the Month
If you receive a threatening call or message from someone claiming to be a government or law enforcement official, you should:
- Not give the person any personal or financial information.
- Collect the caller's contact information.
- End the conversation immediately if threats and intimidation persist.
- Contact UC Davis Police and report the incident.

SISS is closed on weekends and university holidays. All holidays are listed on the campus Academic Calendar. SISS closes at 2 p.m. on the business day before the start of a long weekend or holiday.

In an emergency, international students and scholars can connect with SISS staff and advisors when the office is closed. Please note: Needing a travel signature is not an emergency.
