What is the Global Ambassador Mentorship Program?
The Global Ambassador Mentorship Program is designed to help incoming first-year and incoming transfer international undergraduate students successfully adjust to life at UC Davis. Through peer mentorship and participation in social events, new international undergraduate students make connections with new friends and find a welcoming global community at UC Davis.
Global Ambassador Mentors represent the diverse student community on campus — domestic and international, from different academic years and fields of study, and with varied life experiences.
Global Ambassador Mentorship Program events are open to all undergraduate students, so you can always invite a friend. Keep up to date on events on Homebase and by subscribing to the SISS Newsletter or checking the SISS events calendar.
How To Get Involved
Get Mentorship as a Mentee
Global Ambassador mentees are incoming first-year and transfer international undergraduate students who want to be matched with a peer mentor. You can ask your mentor questions about student life at UC Davis, academic resources, clubs, campus events, and more. Learn how to apply and get matched with a mentor.
