Africa comes to Davis

"The Tese Foundation’s annual Women and Girls Tea fundraiser, this year themed “Out of Africa,” will be from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 4, at the newly renovated Veterans Memorial Center, 305 E. 14th St. in Davis.

Then, from 4 :00 to 6:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 5, the foundation’s inaugural African Lioness Symposium will begin at the UC Davis Conference Center, 550 Alumni Lane in Davis. Both events require advance reservation and African-print wear is encouraged."
